THE MUSIC
Scottish musician and DJ Nick Prescott sets the pace for the show. Sienta la Cabeza. His music vibrates and dialogues with the sculptural art of hairstyles, adding magic to the live creations. Hairstyles and music generate a magical and magnetic atmosphere that brings people closer to enjoy the Sienta la Cabeza show.
With a very fine ear, he navigates through a wide range of styles, genres and eras (Jamaican, African, Brazilian, Celtic rhythms, pop, rock, ambient, drum & bass, folk, jazz, disco, soul, easy listening) creating a soundtrack that completes the singular experience that each performance becomes
As a musician, he wrote the soundtrack for the unique performance “Transformation in First Person” in 2011, and for the Performance Installation “The Hairdresser’s Diván” in 2016.
